Privacy policy

Who we are
Doneasy is provided by the developer named on its App Store listing, based in the United Kingdom. For privacy questions, contact support@doneasy.app.
Your app data
Doneasy works without an app account. Reminders, Keeps, dates, notes and places are stored on your device. We do not operate a cloud database for this content, use advertising trackers, or include our own analytics or crash-reporting SDK. Local processing does not send this content to us.
Calendar import
Calendar access is requested when you choose iPhone calendars. Apple requires full calendar permission to read events, but Doneasy only reads them: it does not change or delete your original events. You choose calendars, a date range and individual events to copy. Imported titles, dates, times, notes, locations and source names are stored locally in Doneasy. This is a one-time copy, not a background sync. Google calendars are available through accounts already connected to Apple Calendar; Doneasy does not request your Google password. Calendar files are also parsed on your device. You can revoke access in iOS Settings and delete imported items in Doneasy.
Partner sharing
If you pair with a partner, records you choose to share travel directly between the paired devices over Bluetooth or local Wi-Fi. Transfers are encrypted using keys created on the devices. There is no Doneasy relay server. Camera access is used only to read a pairing code; no photograph is saved. Bluetooth and local-network access are used for nearby discovery and transfer. Unpairing stops future sharing on your device. Copies already received by another device may remain there, and an offline partner will not receive the unpair notice.
Backups, exports and deletion
You choose where to send exported files, such as Files, iCloud Drive or another app. The destination provider's privacy terms apply. Backup encryption is optional: a backup without a passphrase is readable by anyone with the file. App storage may be included in device backups according to your Apple settings. Deleting Doneasy removes its local app data, but does not delete exported files, device backups, copies on a partner's device, or Apple's purchase records. Recently deleted items can remain until their retention period expires or you permanently delete them.
Notifications
Doneasy schedules notifications locally through iOS. Notifications can show reminder or event details on the lock screen according to your device settings. You can change or disable notifications in Doneasy and iOS Settings. Delivery may be affected by Focus, device settings and system limits.
Purchases
Apple processes Plus and optional support purchases through the App Store. StoreKit contacts Apple to load products, verify purchases and restore eligible purchases. Doneasy does not receive your card details. The app stores purchase status and support transaction identifiers and dates locally. Lifetime Plus is restorable through Apple; repeatable support purchases do not unlock features and their local thank-you history may be lost if the app is deleted. Apple's privacy policy governs its payment and App Store services.
Optional vehicle lookup
Vehicle lookup is unavailable unless a service is configured. Using Look up sends the vehicle registration to that service, which may forward it to the DVLA. Network providers can also receive connection information such as an IP address. Your other app records are not included in the lookup request. You can enter vehicle details manually instead.
Website and support
Visiting doneasy.app sends ordinary connection data, such as your IP address and requested page, to our hosting provider, Vercel, to deliver and secure the site. We do not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts. If you email support, our email provider processes your email address, message and any attachments so we can reply. Send only information needed for your request. We retain correspondence only as needed to handle support and any applicable legal obligations. Technical diagnostics are exported only when you request them; they exclude your reminders and notes.
Your choices and rights
You can edit, export and delete your local records in the app, revoke device permissions in iOS Settings, and manage backups with the provider you chose. For information we receive through support or the website, you can contact support@doneasy.app to request access, correction or deletion, or exercise other applicable privacy rights. You can also raise a concern with the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data-protection authority. Doneasy is not specifically directed at children and does not use behavioural advertising.
Changes
We will update the date on this policy when our practices change. Any new use of device permissions will be explained when requested. The current policy is available in the app and at doneasy.app/privacy.html.
